At DNLF, we strongly desire to walk with God, grow in faith and allow Christ to be reflected in all areas of our lives. Prayer draws us into intimacy with God, and plays an essential role in transforming us to be the kind of people God wants us to. 

For a Christian, prayer is as essential as breathing and only by prayer can we develop into robust, healthy Christians; without prayer we shall be lifeless and ineffective. This means we should pray privately (Matthew 6:6), frequently (Psalms 55:17), regularly (Daniel 6:10), in times of trouble (Psalms 50:15) and in fact, without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). 

Needless to say, praying together as a church in one accord helps build ourselves as well as transform the community we live in. When we bring the needs of others to God in prayer, we work in partnership with His heart. 

We at DNLF come together every Saturday from 7.30 to 9.00 on for a time of intense prayer and fellowship where we share our prayer topics and intercede for one another, for the church and ministries and for various topics and burdens that the Lord has placed upon our hearts. SIP provided a space where we can come together to build up our faith, be open about our struggles, share what God is doing in our lives and be encouraged by what He is doing in the lives of others. 

We have seen our God working in mighty ways in our midst sending forth His answers in His perfect time.  This in turn renews and strengthens our faith. Through prayers we have witnessed God’s outpouring of love, healing and provisions. It is a remarkable gift from God. Rejoice in the power of the Lord!
